NCAATournament History Search Tool

Check out the awesome tools for different March Madness pools like brackets and survivor with my friends over at PoolGenius who are offering the tools at a huge 20-60% discount for my subscribers.

I’ve personally used some of the PoolGenius tools and research in the past. There’s a lot of data in there, and it’s genuinely fun to dig through. Some of the tools include a Round Survival tool that looks at odds and the probability of teams making it to each round. Probably my favorite resource to help with my bracket selections is the Value Analysis Data Grid. This is where I spend most of my time. It compares the model’s win probabilities against what percentage of the public is actually picking each team. The gap between those two numbers is a great place to create leverage vs other players in your bracket pools. There is also a cool Head-to-Head Matchup Analyzer for each game.

I personally love the Calcutta and Survivor tools that provide round by round help. I relied on the survivor tool to advance to the Finals last year.

There is also a bracket generator if you just want a bracket based on your pool’s scoring rules and field size.

Below is a tool to search for all historical NCAA tournament games since the 2009-10 season. I merged the results with Kenpom.com efficiency metrics.

Feel free to search based on seed, offensive, defensive and total team metrics. Not only do I have the actual metrics but the percentiles of those metrics based on that season.
